Path of Exile Useful Site list for New and Old players

Been playing Path of Exile arpg on and off since I fell off the D3 wagon. Keep in mind that this is a free game and every 4 months, a new mechanic is introduced to keep players coming back. Since the game was released in 2013, there has been many new mechanics introduced. Some players would have multiple browser tabs open to help them find the information they need.

Going to list down sites that help players make better choices and spend more time playing.

Poeapp.com

Here you can look for items using very detailed filters. What is less known is that you can also buy certain items in bulk as well.

Another nifty feature on these sites is the live search. This way, you get a notification every time an item that fits your filter is put up for sale. This way you know that the seller is really online. This usually has a better chance of getting an answer.

The live search speed may vary depending on your connection and where you are. If you want first dibs on an item, test which of the sites have faster live search results for you.

Personally, I have only tried poeapp a handful of times. At the moment, I am having trouble opening the website from Asia.

Cheat Sheets

poe.ninja

poe ninja currency info

Another useful site for checking prices of currency and base items. It also shows the trends of each via graphs if that is something that interests you. It has a builds page that I will list down on the builds section of this post.

POELab

poe labyrinth guide cheat sheet

The one true lab runner’s friend! This site has a map of the current lab and the fastest route to finish it. So people can run the map fast and efficiently. Not only that, they have a list of cheat sheets available on their site as well. I always have their Syndicate and Incursion room cheat sheets up on a tab whenever I am playing.

POEDB

poe db info cheat sheet

Another site with a whole lot of info that can help you. There are only three things I check here often. Crafting Bench recipe location specifics, Divination Card drop locations, and Synthesis mods. Lot of the info here can be found in the wiki but this site puts it into neat searchable tables.

Builds

POE Planner

poeplanner poe build passive tree

This is an online passive tree planner. It helps people plan out their builds or share their builds without installing anything. I have seen build makers use this on the forums to share their trees. You can also export from the site and put it in Path of Building if you prefer using that.

poe.ninja

Poe ninja also has a nice page for builds. It even shows the percentage of characters on each ascendancy. You can click on each player to see their passive tree and their current gear.

Path of Exile Forums

This where I mostly look for builds to use. Someone compiles a list for each class. The list also has comments on the builds like if it is budget or league starter friendly. You can also follow the comments for suggestions you might like.

Hope the sites on this list helps keep you sane, Exile. Also a big thanks to the creators of these websites.

Special Mention

Path of Building

This one is a tad different from the rest. It is a program that gives you a more in-depth look at a build. You can import and export builds from public profiles to save and study. It it also has a update button for easy installation.
