This semi-DIY mini marquee kit is made by Craft Crush. I am not sure if this is the same as the Craft Crush by Ann Williams though. There is no other information on the box I could find.
I did buy this from National Bookstore. This kit in particular costs 509php. I saw it in two mini marquee designs. One was “FUN” and the other was “OK”. I decided to pick “FUN” because more letters haha. In the end though, me and my family read it differently. “FUN”, “RUN”, or “PUN”.

The kit came with the cardboard marquee, gold tape, x2 AAA powered LED string lights, plastic bulb covers, glue, colored paper, and a template.
I really like the gold glitter tape because the glitter do not come off. You also have some leftover after the project is over.

First Problem
The instructions say to cut out the colored paper using the template. Later found out that the template didn’t match the marquee exactly so I spent an extra hour trying and trimming the paper to fit.
I highly suggest you just trace the marquee instead to get a closer shape. You can cut the holes for the bulbs when the paper is in place so you know where the holes are. Used a folded cardboard to push up the back. It was hard to film while doing this so I wasn’t able to add that in.
Putting It Together
Tips for finishing touches:
- You can use gold paint to cover up the edges that the tape didn’t reach.
- Put a layer of tape around the bulb if they fell off the plastic covers.
- Starting with “F”, gives you a place to hide the battery box.
- Use tape to hide unruly wires.
